    Dan! That is not a safe vessel to use! I would be very upset if you injured yourself my friend.

    nice experiment man, keep working at it!

    sweet experiment…..keep it up

    great job! (sad face)…your tech is going to make WATER more expensive than gas, which is good…but I don’t need to drink gas to live. I need water to live.

    Dan a quick questian couldn’t you use a aluminum can or even steal can insted of glass to reduce your chanses of it blowing up. Just a thought. Lov your videos.

  10. CreQ says:

    Damn! That thing is an energy powerhouse! You should hook it up to a generator and sell power to your whole neighborhood!

    @dayspring4ever Scroll Exp are very delicate. They dont tolerate debris well

  12. SpincterManBubba says:

    To do any work that is useful you need a minimum of two horsepower. That means you are looking at a two inch bore (more or less) at 30 pounds pressure. What is the volume of steam available from, let’s say, a 6 foot satellite dish converted to a mirror? How big should the boiler be? How much energy can it produce on an average day and how much can it store in the available amount of sun time?

  13. DAKOTA56777 says:

    Not the safist boiler… would fail any boiler inspection. hehe

  14. 318Captain says:

    The beer enthusiast in me wants to tell you that if you do this again, use a clear glass bottle. It lets more light through the glass.

    @dayspring4ever

    I would like to buy a giant fresnel lens;I want to use it to convert water available at ground level,in to steam,allowing it to escape thru a chute,of course heat insulated so there is no loss of temperature to a height of say 100 feet,on reaching the desired height,I will condense the steam back to water ,there by creating a potential .I can have an array of fresnel lens for this purpose:I would like to know what quantity of water can thus be converted to steam

    using a glass bottle to build pressure is REALLY DANGEROUS.

    lol, i love your videos. its all thes tuff i would do if i had the time+funds. i love tinkering.

    The big Oil corporations are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common ppl.
    We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating ur own electricity now.

    lol

    All you need is a square yard of sunlight to get 1 N of force….

    Nice efficiency.

  20. showmedamoney says:

    @Rileyman2rr i didn’t count nuclear because of the dangerous waste it produces. solar, wind and hydrogen don’t produce harmful pollution.

  21. drorbenami says:

    you show play the music to: The Wild Wild West with this video….

  22. Rileyman2rr says:

    @showmedamoney why not nuclear?

  23. uclajd says:

    You can build a steam engine but can’t hold a camera still?

  24. jcfdillon says:

    Take a Fresnel lens and make a house with the entire south wall being just one giant Fresnel lens. Then invite in all your friends who think solar power doesnt work. I bet even on a cloudy day they would change their mind toot sweet. this is a sort of sick joke, dont try it for goodness sakes.

    I havent read through all the comments so forgive me if its already been said…

    seriously my friend, your counterproductive in the extreme
    that “valve” you so willingly leave open and turn is infact a lubricator that requires a few drops of steam oil for the piston/engine itself, your using what looks like an old wilesco engine.. put some oil in it, a few drops.. leave it closed.. your engine wont hesistate as much.. your running a dry engine no wonder she locks half way.. but nice idea anyway
