Hi Everyone – I rediscovered Mineral Veil from Bare Minerals and am using in place of regular pressed powder after foundation. Warmth is great for pale skin, as well. The starter kit I mentioned comes in a light/fairly light combination set, and I suggest getting that rather than buying the items individually (www.bareminerals.com). I’ll let you know the week goes!

thanx for the video!!!
I cannot do my makeup without mineral veil. Love it!!
I heard they have a “Hydrating Mineral Veil” now. Maybe that would be better for dry skin? Just a thought. :-)
I use Mac Finishing Powder and keep a studio fix compact on me for all-day stuff. I hope this helps! don’t know much about blot powder, though.
im tossing up between this and the MAC blot powder… can anyone give opinions as to what i should get? i have oily skin and i gota 3 day convention (that goes all day) coming up soon and i really need sumthing that will keep me shine free. its stressful otherwise!
you give great advice tanya. thank you so much, really appreciate it xx
lol, i use the “warmth” for cleavage too haha! it’s worked good for a contour color for cheeks too (on my paleness anyway).
nice vid :)
I’ve been thinking of re-trying Bare Minerals, too.. but same thing, it totally dried my skin out but the mineral veil does sound nice! Another great setting powder is Laura Mercier’s loose setting powder. :)
