Confessions Of A Scentoholic
I love fragrance! A side effect of this that I have an unnecessary collection of them. Last night I was organizing my cabinet and, to my dismay, discovered I have more than a dozen fragrances. I thought I would share some observations on each one. Below are cut ‘n paste descriptions of the fragrance notes from the web, either from the perfumer’s website, or Sephora.com. (1) Juicy Couture Notes: Watermelon, mandarin, pink passionfruit, marigold, green apple, water hyacinth, crushed leaves, tuberose absolute, wild rose, princess lily, caramel crème brulée, vanilla, precious woods and patchouli. @mohammadalmana Thanks Mohammad. Yes, I am OLD. LOL Meanwhile, I should not have said it smells like “old lady”. That might be offensive to some. What I was trying to convey is that I find it strong and too floral, and it reminds me of some older scents, or scents that I associates with “older” people when I was young.

It’s a fragrance called “Boyfriend” described as capturing “the scent of a guy on a girl: a man’s cologne mixed with perfume, the smell that lingers on the skin. This fragrance evokes memories of that time after he has left for the day—when she gently awakes in a bed that’s still warmly redolent of “boyfriend.”
Your mom sounds like mine, LOL! I am a fragrance fanatic and I have a serious problem of loving fragrances, buying them and then rarely wearing them. Thank goodness perfume companies are coming out with smaller sizes and rollerballs because my dresser is overflowing with big bottles, LOL!

oh yes, i am the same way when it comes to my attention span and fragrances- its very short. i like to buy the small bottles just because i never finish a full bottle and b/c im always looking for my next fragrance.
I’d love to see a review of any or all of these: Clarins Eau Ensoleillante, Dream Angels Heavenly, Something about Sophia, and Alabaster. How long does the perfume last? Do you combine it with any body lotions or other fragrances? Where/when would you wear it? How do you feel when you wear it? Does it evoke any memories for you?
