@WLG4
1,500 is reasonable for one of these. It’s made out of thick stainless like maybe 16ga, but it’s much thicker than would you’d get from any box store grill. It’s built to last a lifetime too, with a greasable Zerk, hd motor, etc. The newer 2 stones look different than this one; more refined. I’ve had mine for a year and have gone through 4 55lb bags of flour, I think it’s been worth every penny!
@OuKrokodil no its not look how thin the dough was
useless…burnt on the outside, raw in the middle AND a ripoff!!
Too much work. I’ve got my oven rigged to go to 800 so I am going to stick with that for now.
Your pie looked decent, but I was a bit leery about that sauce you used. Why not just use some DOP tomatoes?
@legunncat I’d love to but I live in Japan now. Visit the forno bravo forum and you can download free plans for a brick oven.
No kidding? What do you say I pay you $300 and you come to my place and build one for me?
Sure. but how much time did it take for you to build it?
I just build a wood fire brick oven for about 200 bucks. It makes the same pizzas as this and costs 1300 dollars less. Amazing!
If only this was priced somewhere near the price of a small vertical smoker and not the $1,500.00 they charge for it would be something regular people might want to buy. It can’t cost more than a couple of hundred for them to build one of these.
Willard, I can’t wait! btw, I forgot I had this profile.
Hi GunnCat…just a few more days to go.
You’re killing me Willard! When will it be ready??
beautiful – great stuff man!
@2005steelers the peel is located on our website (fgpizza.com) under the peel section.
Bravo!
Very nice!!!!
@Hamish121212 Do you think I can run a gas line into it, and use the gas log inserts to maintain temperature, in adition to burning wood. I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks
Fantastic!!!…I am certainly going to build my own soon!!..Thanks!!
yum yum yum yum

whats this song anyone?its so cool.i like it.
Hey great video…what brand peel did u use when you sliced your pie? I need one like that.
awesome dude. I’ve convinced myself to build one. Just have to figure out how. I saw some clay pizza oven video looked easy
you can do it! I know you can ;)
That’s one beautiful pie! Good job!
Now if I could just convince my wife that a pizza oven would be a great backyard fixture…
Since I wrote this I have completed my oven and made both bread and pizza in it. They are both to die for. I have a french bread that is so good my daughter thinks it is the best bread she has ever tasted. Lots of fun.
We built a chamber with Block that can be cleaned out at the bottom of the front of the oven. Kind of like older homes with chimeneys, there’s a trap outside at the bottom.
Fantastic oven and it was an inspiration for my own. Check it out at English wood burning oven.
Good Luck!!
I like the slot that you drag all the ashes into – would like to see some more detail on how that works – do you have a tin can or something under the slot to hold the ashes?
I am building one of these at this minute. I am at the point of merging the chimney with the dome. Wish me luck.
agreed.
Love the music.
By far the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. (Frankie didn’t pay me to say that either…)
Bravo ! Complimenti !
A real pizza!
Cool video. I am totally inspired. I have a friend and I that are going to attempt one in our backyards. Love the music to. CS
